Gruffalo Blue's story

Crocheting and knitting are not hobbies, they are psychotherapy, company, loneliness, creation, addiction, and relaxation at the same time.

Meet Gruffalo Blue, a friend I made for my eldest son who likes to give his teddies very literal names :-)

Gruffalo Blue was made of scrap acrylic yarn and he is the first toy I have ever made. I was hoping to have given him a name inspired by David Bowie's music as Gruffalo Blue has heterochromia iridum because I didn't have two matching buttons yet my 2.5 year old (then) got to name him.

Poor thing hasn't been played with for a while now but he hasn't lost his smile, he is waiting patiently to be rediscoved and cuddled again.

If you would like a similar monster, think of the colours you would like them to have and get in touch. I didn't follow a pattern, just made it up as I went along while getting inspiration from photos of other knitted monsters online, there are some amazing crafters out there
